Get together with other parents for some fun easy learning in a relaxed environment. Bring your pre-crawling baby along and enjoy some "me-time".
Over 5 weeks you will:
- sew some cute and easy projects for your baby like a bib, burp cloth, and soother clip
- learn to sew straight and curved seams
- learn techniques like bagging out an item (sewing in a lining) and making straps
Sewing Level: Intro to Sewing. Suitable for those with no sewing experience or who want a refresher on the basics. Also open to those who just want some crafty social time on Friday mornings.
Includes: 5 weeks of classes, pattern instructions, gorgeous cotton prints and flannel fabrics, with matching thread, clips, and snaps. No preparation required.

Instructor: Rosalyn Faustino is a local maker working mainly in sewing and weaving. She has been teaching and encouraging sewists for many years. Her heart gets excited when she shares and talks about fibre and textiles with makers and curious minds.
NOTES:
- For the babies: There will be a designated area safely away from the machines with play mats, bouncers, cushions and toys. Please bring anything else your baby might like. For safety we are limiting this class to pre-crawling babies and no childcare will be provided.
- There is a fridge and microwave available for use, as well as a private washroom. We do not have a change table but there is ample space in the studio if you need to change your baby, and comfy chairs for feeding.
