Make comfy, stylish summer pants or pajama pants with a touch of personal style. This class will teach basic garment construction using a pattern. This class covers:
- understanding a garment pattern and terminology
- choosing the right fabric for the pattern
- making and fitting pants from a pattern
- attaching an elastic waistband
Sewing Level: Beginner. An easy introduction to garment making. Some basic sewing machine experience required.
Pattern Sizes: 12 months to adult (up to hips 53", waist 44")
Includes: 6 hours of instruction and a copy of the pattern. Supplies extra.

Neelam enjoys sewing her own clothes and has experience in a wide variety of fabrics. She has also designed her own makes from scratch. Neelam loves being part of the local sewing community and really enjoys building relationships with fellow sewists to help them on their making journey.
Homa's passion for sewing and quilting is obvious in the wide range of projects she tackles from innovative patchwork clothing to fashionable and functional bags. This is matched by her passion for teaching and sharing what she knows with her students. You will find a warm, friendly welcome and lots of encouragement in Homa's classes.
