The workshop you have been asking for is here - make your own winter coat or quilted jacket with help from our experienced teacher.
This class offers a choice of 2 patterns and the option to make it quilted.
In this class you will learn:
how to construct your coat including pockets
seaming and finishing techniques
how to design your quilted jacket and prepare your pieces
option to add lining (homework or extra sewing time required)
Sewing Level:Advanced. Attendees should have completed some previous dressmaking and/or quilting projects prior to taking this class. Please enquire before registering if you need advice on the skill level of these classes.
Includes: 12 hours of instruction (4 sessions), tips handout (quilted jacket), and a copy of the pattern. Supplies extra.
Pattern choices: Grainline Tamarack Jacket (sizes 0-18) or Jalie Tania Coatigan (sizes from small child to adult 2XL).
NOTE 1: Please pick up your pattern and cut out your paper pattern pieces prior to class. Ask us for help in preparing for class.
NOTE 2: If making a quilted jacket you will need to piece your quilt tops prior to class (with help from our tips handout) or do some homework between classes in order to complete the essential parts of the jacket in class.
