Visible Mending Class

Freshen up your wardrobe with the latest trend for visible mending!

Our experienced teacher will demonstrate some visible mending techniques including sashiko/boro and embroidery stitches. Learn:

• how to set up your hoop for stitching on clothing
• various embroidery stitches to create your design
• how to finish your design so it is ready to wear

Bring your own item of clothing to mend or embellish. Supplies packs of fabric pieces and/or threads available to purchase.

Sewing Level: Suitable for all levels of stitchers including beginners.

Includes: 3 hours of instruction and some supplies. Bring your own garment or fabric to work with or use our supplies to make some samples. Mending Supplies Kits available for purchase in our shop.
