








Intro to Embroidery Class
Learn a range of embroidery stitches and techniques with one of our 3 samplers - Chickadee, Raven or Fox. Learn:
- how to choose fabrics and threads
- how to set up your hoop for sewing
- how to sew a range of different embroidery stitches on your sampler
- creating a good finish
Level: Intro. This is an introductory class for those who are new to embroidery or who want to practice basic stitches.
Includes: 3 hours of instruction and all supplies included.

Instructor: Leah is a local sewist with many interests. She is a trained traditional kiltmaker, quilter, longarmer, costume designer and dressmaker. Her grandmother taught her embroidery and crewel work as a child. She enjoys spending time with her kids at various highland dance and bagpiping events.
