The Stiletto is an essential tool to keep nearby, whether you need a thin "extra finger" to guide/hold material with great accuracy – or keep your real fingers away from danger (needles are sharp, and irons are hot!) – or just to create holes with the pointy end!
Handcrafted by David of Broadleaf Wood Studio.
This sewing stiletto features:
-
Sharp point – great for creating precise holes where you need them. Like it says, this thing is sharp, so keep your fingers, self, and others safe by using the included vinyl cap. :)
-
Hand-ground shank – made from stainless steel or brass, the shank & tip are intentionally made rough, making it grip material and provide you better control.
-
Ergonomic shape – with multiple places and ways to hold it to best suit the task.
-
Anti-roll edge – round things roll! The last thing you want is this rolling off your table, so we flattened one side to help prevent that sort of thing.
-
30°-angled end – perfect for quickly pressing or keeping seams open
-
Natural semi-gloss finish – we don't love plastic-looking finishes like lacquer or urethane (they are also high VOC, which we prefer to avoid in the shop); we want you to be able to see and feel the natural wood.
