Drop-In Policies

• Our studio is equipped with sewing machines and sergers as well as standard tools and notions that you can use. Specialty tools or sewing machine feet can be requested from the staff.
• Our Sewcials are designed for sewists and quilters with some basic experience. It does not include a beginner sewing lesson so it is not suitable for complete beginners. For beginners we recommend you attend one of our Intro classes prior to attending the Sewcial.
• Tea and biscuits will be served. You are welcome to bring your own mug/cup.
• Cancellation policy for Sewcials: Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of the class or event will receive a full refund to store credit or transfer to another date. For cancellations made less than 7 days in advance: A store credit of 50% of the fee will be given if more than 4 days notice, or if 4 days or less notice from the class time is given then no refund or transfer will be issued.. Sessions may be cancelled due to low registration with 48 hours notice. In this case you may transfer to another date or receive a full refund.
• Our studio is scent free. Please do not wear fragrance when attending our studio.
  
• If you would like to register an unaccompanied minor (under 18 years old) please contact us before registering them.
  
• In the studio you are expected to follow instructions and safety guidelines for your own safety and to avoid damage to machines and tools.
• Covered parking is available off Spring Street if the street parking is full. Parking passes available.
• In The Stitchery Studio fabric shop we have a wide selection of fabrics and notions if you need anything. Our knowledgeable staff can give advice on the best choices for your project. Please check current open hours since our shop is not always open during Sewcial hours.
