Kids Sewing Club Dates

Here are some things you should know:
1. Kids Sewing News: Please subscribe to our Kids Sewing News email list to ensure you receive timely updates about our activities. In particular, parents of Sewing Club students will only receive updates through this mailing list due to Canadian anti-spam laws.
2. Supplies: Supplies are included for all projects. Sewing Club students expect to complete 2 projects per 6 week session. Students will start with simpler projects like a bag and book pillow, and progress to more complex makes like shorts and quilts.
3. Contact Form: Please complete the contact form using the link in purple below. **Your child will not be allowed to attend until this form is submitted.** A new form needs to be completed every September. Thank you.
4. Drop-off and Pick-up: Our studio entrance is located at 80 Mary Street, Port Moody. The door opens 10 minutes before the start time. Please do not drop-off your child earlier than this as we are working hard to prepare for their studio experience. If you will be late for pick up please give us a call and let us know. Parking is available in the covered lot off Spring Street at the back of our building.
5. Refreshments: Water is provided. Please send a labelled cup/water bottle and nut-free snack (if desired) with your child. For full day camps please send a nut-free bag lunch as well.
6. Pre-registration: To keep your kid's space in our sewing club make sure you register for the next session during the pre-registration period. Pre-registration is open for one week before registration opens. Monthly subscribers are automatically registered so you don't need to worry.
7. Health and Safety: Clear safety instructions will be given during the class to keep everyone safe. We expect all our students to be respectful and attentive. If your child is unwilling to do so after being asked to correct their behaviour we will contact you to immediately come and pick them up. If your child is experiencing any illness please do not come to club but call and let us know.
8. Fragrance: Please note that our studio is fragrance-free for the comfort of all our students. Please let your child know this prior to attending. Thank you for keeping our studio friendly.
9. Cancellation: Please read our general cancellation policy when you register (linked at checkout). For monthly club subscribers you can cancel after the minimum 3 months of attendance. We require 3 weeks notice to cancel your subscription.
10. Sewing Club monthly subscription payment dates: September, October, November, January, February, March, April, May, June. No recurring payments in December, July, or August. If you register in the summer the September payment will be skipped. If you register in December the January payment will be skipped.
Parent Contact Form
This form must be completed when you join us as a new student, and every September. You will not be allowed to attend a programme in our studio without a signed form.
