Boxy Zipper Pouch Class

Learn how to sew zippers and make a handy pouch with contrasting lining. Great for travelling or giving as gifts. Learn:

• inserting a zipper
• sewing boxed corners
• bagging out an item (sewing in a lining)
• making a professional finish

Sewing Level: Beginner. Some basic knowledge of using a sewing machine is required for this class.

Instructor: Leah is a local sewist with many interests. She is a trained traditional kiltmaker, quilter, longarmer, costume designer and dressmaker. Her grandmother taught her embroidery and crewel work as a child. She enjoys spending time with her kids at various highland dance and bagpiping events.
