Unsure where to start with your new sewing machine? Let us help you. Bring your own machine and get set up for sewing and/or quilting.

This group class covers:

  • how to set up your machine
  • threading and winding a bobbin
  • setting stitches and adjusting tension
  • what the different feet are for
  • general maintenance
  • troubleshooting tips

Sewing Level: Intro. This class is suitable for beginners or those who want to get to know their new sewing machine. It is not suitable for embroidery machines or sergers.

Location: 80 Mary Street, Port Moody

Includes: 2 hours of instruction, and supplies for sewing stitching samples.

    Please note that you will need your manual, foot pedal and power cord. If you do not have your manual we may not be able to answer your questions.

    Cancellation Policy

    Full registration payment is required to reserve your space in a class or event. Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations made more than 10 days in advance of the class or event will receive a full refund to store credit. For cancellations made less than 10 days in advance: A store credit of 50% of the fee will be given if more than 4 days notice, or if 4 days or less notice from the class time is given then no refund or transfer will be issued.
